Technology continues to go through a period of exponential change. Consumer behaviours and food trends will be significantly different in the future and new innovations in genetics, food processing and information technology will have an enormous impact. How will food production in New Zealand be affected?

Alasdair did his PhD in food science in the UK and worked in food product development before moving to NZ in the 1990’s. Al moved into Sales Management and then became Business Development Director for Kerry Ingredients NZ. He currently helps clients innovate and commercialise as Business Development Manager of The FoodBowl.
