As a Food Safety Specialist with Commercial Food Sanitation, Karin partners with food processors in driving sanitation and hygienic design improvement. Her 18 years in the food industry working with many food processors and equipment manufacturers in all food segments has afforded her a unique perspective when helping the food industry. Karin is passionate about training and continuous improvement. She believes these always go hand in hand to make a positive change in food safety culture 
Prior to joining CFS in 2012, Karin spent 12 years working with food manufacturers in various roles at Intralox. Karin is an active member of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG), participating in several guideline sub-groups. Karin shares her passion for food safety as acolumnist for "Food Processing Vakblad’

In 2018, Karin and her family relocated from Amsterdam to Sydney and is very excited to learn a new culture, make new friends, and support the food industry in Australia and New Zealand.
